To get over that problem i just expanded the board so when i zoomed in on my model so there wasn't that problem that i had before
In our last tutorial we were shown how to make a more realistic look to our model. We were shown how to somewhat copy the boards in the photography studios.
I decided to make the board to have a wooden look. When i rendered my model i found out that there were like patches of wood and you could see the lines between the patches and it looked weird when close up
I think the copper colour for the ball looks good because it stands out in my render. As you can kind of see the colour of the ball is being reflected of the sides and the circles. I really like how it does that and that is what i am trying to do for my final render
This is how my render came out. I like how it looks. Im trying to get a glass look to my model and have something in the middle to kind of radiate like a light bulb
When finding a good way to present my model i first decided to just have it on a plane and have boxes surrounding it with lights also shinning onto the the model
Next i decided to do the 2 circles. I did these before the sides just in case they didn't fit with each other. The middle one didn't fit properly so i did have to expand it so that it would fit
I started with the base and then have the sides. On the base i put the engravings on them but when they were rendered you couldn't see it that well. Because of this i decided not to put the engravings on each of the 4 sides
I decided to do my final render on 3DS max. Because i thought it was to hard to make some of the shapes of 3DS max i decided to first make each part in solid works and then transfer the part to solid works. I did this for all of the parts for my model.
